Piano Lesson Framework

Practical

Children master the full repertoire of technique (scales, hand movement, warm-ups), progressive pieces through lesson books, introduction to early classical works, and movie and pop songs. These different styles give students unique areas of learning, and children ultimately learn to appreciate all periods of music.

Theory

The foundational knowledge of music theory are necessary to understand the language of piano. Pianists build this education early in their studies in learning the musical staff, rhythm, key and time signatures, terminology, and much more. As a result, reading and understanding music becomes easier in application.

Performance

Students have the opportunity to showcase their talent with the Annual Piano Recital. From preparation to the main event, the recital is truly invaluable in building confidence and performing for friends and loved ones. Plus, all students and families come together to have fun and to celebrate a year of hard work and dedication.
